The 7th annual Peace Village Festival kicks off on August 16th-18th with three days of amazing and varied concerts—now with two music stages: the outdoor Seamana Earth & Stone Stage and the garden setting of the Casbah Pavilion Stage. The fun begins on Friday with folk artist Alice DiMicele Band, and Vince Herman (of Leftover Salmon), to get things cooking. On Saturday the 17th, the music heats up with the roots-rock country style of The Human Revolution, along with world devotional, pop singer/songwriter Tina Malia. The festival wraps up on Sunday, August 18th with reggae favorite Alycon Massive; roots reggae and sacred song artist Shimshai; along with Dirtwire—featuring David Satori of Beats Antique & Evan Fraser of Hamsa Lila—headlining. Many other artists are performing as well.

Imagine… a village birthed from our shared visions, deepest longings, and ancestral memories of what could be, holding a resonance of peace that informs, inspires, and activates all who enter. This village is being conceived and built with peace, sustainability, and respect as its guiding principles. For one weekend in August, Jackson WellSprings will be transformed into a Peace Village, with three full days of glorious and diverse musical styles, an artisans’ market, a visionary art installation, a healing sanctuary, and delicious, nutritious, reasonably priced, gourmet vegetarian meals and snacks. This is a family friendly event with something for everyone. Children will enjoy Kid Village with all kinds of fun activities. Our Healing Sanctuary provides the opportunity to experience a variety of forms of massage and other healing arts. The festival also features an Intuitive Arts Pavilion with tarot, astrology, psychic readers, and other divinatory arts; Yoga; Ecstatic Dance; Workshops; Altars; Ceremonies; Late Night Music on the Casbah Stage; and Late Night Dance Parties (separate ticket needed) with electronic music in the Community Room.

The Sacred Meadow at Jackson WellSprings Hot Mineral Springs Resort—just north of Ashland on Highway 99—is the idyllic setting for Peace Village Festival 2013, with Camping and Spa use available. A limited number of festival camping passes are available. The Extra Early Bird Special for full weekend camping passes is only $108, available until June 29^th, then going to $120 for Early Bird Pricing through July 15^th, $140 through August 15^th, and $150 at the event… if there are any still available. The pass includes 3 nights of onsite camping, unlimited use of the hot mineral springs pools, spa, and showers, 3 days and nights of amazing music, access to all workshops, ceremonies, ecstatic dance, yoga, and late night music in the Casbah Pavilion, etc….
