Peace Village 2010 kicks off on August 20th -22nd with a new format — a three-day concert series (think mini-Tanglewood or Britt Music Series, along with spa and mineral springs) — replete with a wide variety of music including Reggae, World Fusion, Rock, Folk, Kirtan, Gypsy, Latin, Funk, and Electronica, all with a common goal of uniting in the spirit of peace.
Friday afternoon is FREE until 5pm, so bring your friends and enjoy the day and the delicious gourmet vegetarian fare from Café Namaste, then stay for a full evening’s music schedule capped off with our Friday headliner Chris Berry & Friends. On Saturday, I-chèle & The Circle of Light and the Frankie Hernandez Band head the bill, with Cast of Clowns and the Alice Di Micele Band bringing things to a grand finalé on Sunday, just to mention a few of the numerous acts that will be performing at this event. In order to showcase and support our talented local musicians as well as those from afar, Peace Village 2010 is now a paid event, at $15/day or $40 in advance for all three days, or a $20 day pass at the door.
Jackson Wellsprings is the idyllic setting for Peace Village 2010 from 2pm – 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and 2pm – 10:30pm on Sunday, with its Camping and Spa use available for low additional fees. This year’s 4th annual event also features an Artisans Village with great crafts and imports, a Kids’ Village, and a Healing Sanctuary. The focus is on embracing inner and outer peace and the village model in all aspects of life and community, as well as on sustainability, health, community, re-localization, celebration, and on youth and elders.

This village is being conceived and built with peace, sustainability, and respect as its guiding principles.
Come experience and participate in Peace Village. Browse and shop at our Artisans Market. Listen to varied and wondrous music. Dance, play, and celebrate. This event will be kid friendly on all levels, and will honor our elders. The desire is for the involvement of the whole community, for people of goodwill from all walks of life, all ages, all lifestyles, all paths and persuasions to gather together in the spirit of peace.
Peace Village is a 3-day concert series in Ashland, Oregon, one hour north of Mount Shasta. From inspiring music and performers to an entire village dedicated to peace, Jackson Wellsprings in Ashland will transform itself into a truly unique showcase of all that is encompassed within PEACE.
